Edith Eger – CHOICE
“Freedom is about CHOICE – about choosing Compassion, Humour, Optimism, Intuition, Curiosity, Self-Expression.” Edith Eger
Reading a truly inspiring book, The Choice by Edith Eger, I have learned so much about humanity and how good can come our of the most desperate situation. Edith writes about her life experience during World War II and the unimaginable experiences she endures during the horrors of the Holocaust. Despite all that she suffered and lost in that time she found a path to live again in a truly remarkable and inspiring way. From her book I have plucked many words of hers, which evoke reflection and have been empowering. I thoroughly recommend her book as I expect there is something for many of us to learn from her insight and wisdom.
“Our painful experiences aren’t a liability – they’re a gift. They give us perspective and meaning, an opportunity to find our unique purpose and our strength.” Edith Eger
Thank you Edith Eger for your honesty, truth and spirit.
